Chris is in Windhoek

Windhoek is the capital of Namibia and has a population of 400,000.  We are spending the night here before we continue on to Cape Town tomorrow. Cape Town is our final stop before we make the very long journey home.

I leave you with a few more photos from the desert

We flew almost 2 hours in the small 4-person airplane known as the Ferrari of the desert. That is the last small plane of the trip.

We are staying at The Weinberg hotel - it is quite nice when compared to any nice hotel in any city and especially after the lodges.

For dinner, we went to Joe's Beerhouse. It was recommended to us by almost everyone we asked. It was kind of touristy and I found the food not that flavorful but we did eat zebra, springbok, and kudu meat.

We fly to Cape Town early tomorrow afternoon.
