Chris is at The Skeleton Coast

The updates will be short for the next few days because the wifi is horribly slow here. 

We started the day with a short flight on a very small plane - only enough room for 4 people.

The Hoanib Lodge is quite nice with exceptionally fancy tents. 

It is very hot here during the day so there's not much to do besides rest. In the evening, we went for a game drive and saw oryx, elephants and a herd of ostriches.  We also watched the sunset from a mountain overlooking the river bed. The river is dry now but does fill with water during the rainy season.  

Tomorrow, we drive to the coast to see the Atlantic Ocean from the other side.
