My South American food tour is complete. Pisco Sour. Check. Ceviche. Check. Soup. Check and Check. And finally Empanada. This is the Chilean version so baked and stuffed with beef, onion, egg, and olives.
We also had some clams with cheese but from the picture you can see that they should more accurately be described as cheese with clams.
This is from the Bella Vista section of Santiago which is all restaurants and very close to the fresh market and the fish market.
I have a few hours of rest at the hotel before starting the long journey back to NYC. Overall, it was a great trip and South America remains my favorite place to visit.
