Chris goes to Valparaiso

Valparaiso might be a Top 10 city for me.

Before the Panama Canal was completed, it was the most important port city in South America. It is now the cultural capital of Chile.

Nearly every building, stairway, and wall in the city is covered in murals.  You can wander up and down the streets for hours and hours and never get tired of seeing the murals.

It is hilly like San Francisco and has several funiculars to navigate from top to bottom.

Valparaiso is north of Santiago and the country side resembles Northern California including the vineyards and the constant threat of wild fires.

Lunch was more ceviche and pumpkin risotto.

I have a very early flight to Easter Island tomorrow morning.  I'm not sure what the internet situation will be so there might not be any updates for a few days.
