Chris and Henry wait for their covid test results

It's the post we've all been expecting.  We have spent the day at the Boma Guesthouse waiting for the covid test results we need to enter Kenya.

Good news! We are both negative so we won't be stuck here for 10 days.  The results came back so fast that we are leaving for Kenya tomorrow - a day earlier than scheduled.  We get an extra day of safari.

We've not done much today. After social media stalking the other tourists we met, Henry attempted a swim in the cold pool. I thought Africa was hot.  We ate lunch. We watched Netflix.

We played fetch with the resident dog who is now asleep on the floor in our room. I think he has adopted us.

The sun rising over Bwindi Forest in Uganda.  Congo is on the other side of that ridge.

We have a flight tomorrow morning from Entebbe directly to the Masai Mara.  Next update from the Mara provided we have internet access.

And a final note on Uganda, from our sample size of 2, they don't use salt and pepper shakers - just these little spoons that leave clumps of salt and/or pepper on your food.
