Chris and Henry eat sushi

I'm sure you've all been waiting to hear about at least one sushi adventure.

Last night's dinner was our new favorite meal of the trip.  We went to Chef Oba's 8-seat restaurant to eat the fish that we had bought just hours earlier at the fish market.

It's important to understand that I do not eat sushi and am not a huge fish fan.  Everyone was laughing as Henry was giving me lessons in how to eat each item.



It was really, really good.  We had at least 15 kinds of fish.  I lost count.  We had tuna at least 5 different ways.  In addition to fish, we had scallops, crab, squid and shrimp.  We hated the monk fish. Monk fish looks like something one of the bigger fish threw up.  We asked a lot of questions. I mean a lot of questions.  Instead of getting annoyed with us, at one point, the chef pulled out a book and showed us pictures of the fish and explained in more detail where each one lived.  It was truly a memorable experience.

Today is our last day in Tokyo.  Our itinerary includes exploring the Shibuya neighborhood and we have the Robot show tonight.
