Anyone notice how long the TSA Pre-screen lines have been lately? I had some time at SFO on my last trip so I signed up for Clear. On the plus side, Clear offers a faster security check and jump to the head of the TSA pre-screen line for the physical screening portion. It costs $179 per year and you can add a family member for $50. The sign-up process was quick and easy. On the negative side, it is only available in a few airports. It should be a time saver at LGA, SFO and Seattle but is only available at JFK Terminal 2. I don’t even know which airlines depart from Terminal 2.
