On our own

Last night, we wandered into Jolly Harbour for a quick snack and to see if there are any changes from last year. As far as we can remember, the only difference is there is a Chinese restaurant where the Firehouse restaurant was.

After a nice long walk this morning, we drove over to Stingray City for a swim with the Stingrays. Butch and I had very low expectations for this. We assumed it would look nothing like the pictures and be incredibly lame. Surprise! It was fantastic. You take a boat out to the platform and then get to swim with, touch and feed the Stingrays.

Another recommended attraction on Antigua is Betty’s Hope. We stopped. It’s an old sugar plantation. It is skippable.

We are now waiting for the snow schmucks (their words, not mine) to land.
